*ANVESHANA Report*

The Department of Mathematics, Bishop Moore College, Mavelikara, in association with Nirmala Colleege, Muvattupuzha (Autonomous), WMO Arts & Science College, Wayanad, KSMDB College, Sasthamcotta, NSS College, Ottapalam, and Sree Krishna College, Guruvayoor, organized **ANVESHANA – Research Motivation & Mentoring Online Workshop** for Third Year FYUGP/PG Students in Mathematics from **28 September to 03 October 2026**. The programme was inaugurated by *Prof. Dr. Ambat Vijayakumar, Emeritus Professor, CUSAT, Cochin*.

The six-day online workshop was designed to motivate students towards mathematical research and provide exposure to diverse and contemporary areas of Mathematics. The programme featured expert sessions by academicians and researchers from reputed institutions. The sessions covered a wide range of topics including **Recent Research Areas in Graph Theory, Topology, Fractional Calculus, Number Theory, Probability, and Logic & Discovery**.

The programme provided participants with opportunities to interact with experts, explore emerging research areas, and develop an interest in pursuing higher studies and research in Mathematics. Around **120 students from different colleges** actively participated in the workshop, making the programme a valuable platform for academic interaction, research motivation, and knowledge sharing. The active participation and engagement of the students contributed significantly to the success of **ANVESHANA**.
